What is the idea all about? What is the broad topic, what are the main aspects to be covered?

Patient satisfaction is not a clearlydefined concept. The aim is to bring together stakeholders from different areasof health care provision ( healthcare experts, representatives of patientorganisations and caregivers, etc.) to first determine what aspects of healthcare provision are most likely toinfluence patients’ experiences and satisfaction, in order to design a patient experiences questionnaire. Specific dimensions of patient care will beinvestigated, including information and communication, coordination of care, respect of patient preferences, emotional support,  involvement of family and friends, etc.
